Inconel <Characteristics and Drawbacks>

Excellent corrosion resistance! It is hardly affected by various corrosive environments such as bicarbonate.

We would like to introduce the characteristics and drawbacks of our material "Inconel." This material excels in creep resistance and is less prone to deformation under sustained stress at high temperatures, making it suitable for use in rocket engines and F1 exhaust systems. It has the property of being almost corrosion-resistant even when left at temperatures between 650 and 900°C for 50 hours. However, it is difficult to process due to a lack of practical cutting data compared to other materials under conditions that worsen machinability. Additionally, it is expensive, which are its drawbacks. 【Characteristics】 ■ Excellent creep resistance ■ Outstanding corrosion resistance ■ Superior oxidation resistance at high temperatures *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

【Difficult-to-Cut Material Processing Case】Inconel

A heat-resistant alloy with excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance! It maintains performance even in harsh corrosive environments.

"Inconel" is a heat-resistant alloy primarily composed of nickel, known for its excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance. Its features include the ability to maintain strength even at high temperatures. Additionally, it possesses outstanding corrosion resistance, maintaining performance even in harsh corrosive environments such as sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid. Furthermore, it can be hardened through quenching and work hardening, allowing for adjustments in hardness and strength to suit specific applications. [Reasons for Difficulties in Machining] ■ High-temperature strength is significant ■ Prone to work hardening ■ High affinity with tool materials ■ Poor thermal conductivity *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Heat-resistant alloy "COBARION TSE"

This is an alloy developed jointly by Tohoku University, Japan Spring, SII, and Aiwa as a material for heat-resistant springs!

The heat-resistant alloy COBARION TSE is a material that significantly improves high-temperature resistance above 600°C by finely dispersing the γ' gamma prime phase within its structure and introducing high-density dislocations into the matrix, thereby increasing strength at elevated temperatures. It also exhibits excellent mechanical properties in the temperature range from room temperature to 700°C, making it suitable for applications beyond heat-resistant springs. 【Features】 ■ Wear resistance ■ Corrosion resistance *For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

Heat-resistant alloy TRC

Composite materials that exhibit superior performance compared to ceramic materials in the temperature range of around 1000℃!

Ceramic materials have high heat resistance but face challenges in toughness. Our TRC alloy is a composite material that demonstrates superior performance compared to ceramic materials in temperature ranges around 1000°C, based on the material sintering technology developed in-house. For example, it is ideal for FSW (Friction Stir Welding) tools made of steel materials, which have been gaining attention in recent years in the automotive and infrastructure industries, as well as for cutting tools for difficult-to-machine materials.

Heat-resistant alloy for machining

Established dry machining technology using super-hard cutting tools and ceramic cutting tools! Achieving high speed, high precision, and low-cost machining.

Our company has established its own dry machining technology using ceramic tools, in addition to traditional carbide tools. By using dry machining with ceramic tools for rough machining and wet machining with carbide tools for finishing, we can cut heat-resistant alloys, which are difficult to machine, using a hybrid of dry and wet processes. 【Features】 ■ Achieves high-speed machining ■ High precision machining with a 5-axis machining center and our own developed small-diameter tools ■ Low-cost machining with inexpensive ceramic tools compared to carbide tools ■ Conducts everything from manual finishing to dimensional inspection/visual inspection and welding repairs *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.
